1. Agreement

By browsing dev.brightedgewears.com or placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Locust Street Workwear Co., 549 Locust Street, Albany, GA 31701.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and be able to form a binding contract under US law.

3. Products and descriptions

We photograph garments as accurately as we can, but screens vary and natural fabric varies between dye lots. Small variation in shade, slub and hardware patina is a property of the material, not a defect. Measurements published on the Fit & Care page carry a tolerance of ±0.5 inch.

4. Prices and taxes

Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice, but never after you have placed an order. Georgia orders carry 8% state and local sales tax, itemized at checkout. If a price is displayed in obvious error, section 9 of our Refund Policy applies.

5. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer. A contract forms only when we email you a shipping confirmation. We may decline an order — for suspected fraud, an address we cannot ship to, or stock we no longer hold — and if we do, you are charged nothing.

6. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order through our PCI-compliant processor. Made-to-order items are charged in full at order because the fabric is committed on your behalf.

7. Delivery and risk

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; carriers occasionally have weather. Risk passes to you on delivery, not on dispatch — if it is lost or damaged in transit, that is our problem to solve, per the Shipping page.

8. Returns and warranty

The Returns & Refunds policy forms part of these terms: 45-day returns on unworn goods, two-year free repair on manufacturing faults.

9. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, mirror, or resell content from this site; do not attempt to breach or probe our systems; do not submit false orders or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages. We may block access for any of the above.

10. Intellectual property

All text, photography, patterns and the Locust Street Workwear Co. name and mark are our property. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. You may not use our photography in a commercial listing or reproduce our patterns for manufacture.

11. Third-party links

Where we link out — to a carrier's tracking page, for example — we are not responsible for that site's content or privacy practices.

12. Disclaimers and liability

Our garments are work clothing, not personal protective equipment; they are not flame-resistant, cut-resistant, or high-visibility rated, and must not be relied on as safety equipment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control — severe weather in southwest Georgia, carrier strikes, mill shortages, utility failures.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Dougherty County, Georgia. Neither party waives any right to a jury trial and we do not require arbitration.
